2 May: JustShare May Day Event: Please, Forgive Us Our Debts

"mayday! mayday! mayday! this is an emergency!"

Join us on the steps of the Royal Exchange on Friday 2nd May to raise awareness within the City of debt and its impact on poorer people both in the UK and in the developing world.

At midday: music and campaign stalls, on the forecourt of the Royal Exchange

At 1pm: Speeches, interspersed with music and readings, on the forecourt of the Royal Exchange

At 2pm: Seminar to explore the issues further, at St Mary Woolnoth Church, Lombard St EC3V 9AN

With global financial markets in debt-driven turmoil and the Jubilee Debt Campaign’s Journey to Justice (10 years on from Birmingham) picking up pace, JustShare’s May Day 2008 event could not be more relevant.

Operation Noah Director Ann Pettifor will be speaking at this event and Operation Noah will have a stall.
