26-29 June: Operation Noah at Glastonbury

Glastonbury
Somerset
The Sanctuary Marquee at Glastonbury is a place of community, fellowship and activity as well as rest, safety and comfort. Volunteers (all of religious backgrounds from different denominations) provide free activities such as banner making, face painting, giant games, story telling, area for prayer etc. They also offer free water and a space to chill and reflect as well as someplace to sleep if you are lost, worn out, or can't find your tent. They offer worship daily at 7am and 7pm also on Sunday Catholic mass at 10am and Holy Communion at 12pm. All are welcome.
This year the theme of Sanctuary is Noah's Ark which is where Operation Noah comes in. Glastonbury attendees will be able to pick up Operation Noah literature at Sanctuary and sign our petition asking government to divert 10% of defence spending to renewable energy projects and green-collar jobs.
The Sanctuary is situated on the top of the hill called Church Lane which over looks the Pyramid stage, and is next to the Natwest bank. Please stop by!
