A Clifton CAFOD event exploring why climate change matters.  Bishop Declan will be one of the speakers along with Mary Colwell, the Clifton Cathedral parishioner and award-winning BBC natural history TV and radio producer.  Mary is the inspiration behind Sound of Many Waters - Clifton Cathedral’s year-long series of events focused on the environment.  CAFOD’s Climate Change Programme Development Officer, Dr Mike Edwards also takes part.

Tony Vassallo the CAFOD Manager in the Clifton Diocese told cliftondiocese.com, “This event is a joint CAFOD Clifton and Sound of Many Waters event on climate change and why it matters to us as Christians, as stewards of this earth and to the people living in poverty in the developing world.

“We’ve gathered together three excellent speakers for our event.  Do come and find out why climate change matters.”

The event will conclude with Mass celebrated by Bishop Declan.
