By Cloud or Fire - Spiritual Journeys to Climate Safety

At Operation Noah we believe that spiritual conversion is part of the solution to the peril of climate change. But what kind of conversion? How do we experience it? How can we share it? Six months after the disappointment of Copenhagen and on the eve of Pentecost join us at Friends Meeting House on the 22nd of May for a day of reflection, inspiration and discussion...

With three keynote speakers, you can come along to decide how we, as people of faith, can lead ourselves and Operation Noah in the struggle to save creation. Can you help with the Tar Sands campaign?

Main Content Inline Small Tar Sands (also known as Oil Sands) are one of the worlds dirtiest fuels. If you are a member of a pension scheme your pension provider almost certainly has shareholdings, held on your behalf, in the companies who are involved in tar sands developments.

This spring your pension provider will have the chance to vote on tar sands developments at shareholder meetings of BP and Shell, and will be making up its mind about how to vote anytime now. The resolutions are already supported by some major investors but we need you to use the power of your pension or savings to force a review of this damaging and risky activity. Click here to learn more and get involved. You can express your concerns directly to your pension provider or (if you don't have one) by emailing one of BP and Shell's largest shareholders.
