Mark Lynas to address Operation Noah AGM in Oxford on 10th May, 2008

Dear Operation Noah supporter,
The Operation Noah AGM will begin at 12.30 p.m. on 10th May at Saints Mary and John Church, Cowley Road, Oxford (OX4 1UR - see map and "how to get there" below), with welcome snacks and drinks, and a viewing of 'God is Green'. Mark Lynas will address us at 2 p.m.
Operation Noah is being constituted as an independent charity, and this is its first AGM.
As a supporter you are very welcome to attend. In addition to hearing speakers on a number of climate change issues, we will be holding elections to the board, reporting on our activities so far, and discussing priorities for the year ahead. Please come and be part of this important process.
The Church of Saints Mary and John is the church of prominent board member, Ruth Conway, who plays an active part in the church community, which maintains the churchyard as a conservation area. The church is easily reached by bus from Oxford Station. Further details can be obtained from the website.
If you are able to attend will you please write to campaigns@operationnoah.org to register in advance, so that we may have some idea of numbers attending.
We very much look forward to meeting you there.
Ann Pettifor
campaigns director, Operation Noah.
