Our group is based in Abergavenny, South Wales. We have members from various faith groups, including Christians, Buddhists and Quakers. We welcome new members of any faith, or none. By setting up a local group, we aim to help people feel more empowered and to provide a framework for practical action on climate change. We also wish to provide a forum for people locally to share and address concerns about climate change from a spiritual perspective.

Activities

We have a series of events planned over the next few months including:

• a presentation by Mark Dowd on the "US and climate change" in the run-up to the US elections (October)
• a screening of "God Is Green" (November)
• activities focused on the Operation Noah Advent campaign (December)
