The Mustard Seed (Fairtrade & Christian books) opened in 1985, and in early 2004 Faringdon became the first Fairtrade town in the South East (see www.faringdonfairtrade.org.uk) We support (financially) a very successful water harvesting project in Rajasthan and have organised many successful eco-events. Coming up in June is Faringdon ECOWEEK - see www.ecoweek.info - A raft of low carbon ECO-EVENTS for all ages and interests, covering Waste, Food, Energy, Environment, and even a world record attempt! All are welcome to attend all events - low carbon methods of transport preferred!
