The Ethics of Climate Change
Summaries, reports and resources from a one-day colloquium at Blackfriars Hall, Oxford. The colloquium, held on Saturday 17 November 2007, brought together eminent scientists, theologians, policy-makers and economists, to look at sustainable, practical, and virtuous ways forward in addressing climate change.

Gaia Communications ARK Tariff
Gaia Communications has teamed up with Christian Aid to develop the Additional Renewable Kilowatt tariff. The tariff offers environmental benefit to churches in a market where green gas does not exist and green electricity is in extremely short supply.

The Omega Climate Change Course
The Omega Climate Change Group is a small group from St Mark's Church , Broomhill and St Mary's, Bramall Lane, both in Sheffield, who are seeking to encourage Christians and others to respond creatively, imaginatively and effectively to the challenge of climate change. We liaise closely with the diocesan environmental group, the bishop's advisor and other local groups, especially the Sheffield Campaign against Climate Change. Through our contacts in both churches and beyond we have access to a wide range of expertise and advice.

Transition towns
A Transition Initiative is a community that is unleashing its own latent collective genius to look Peak Oil and Climate Change squarely in the eye and to discover and implement ways to address this BIG question:
"for all those aspects of life that this community needs in order to sustain itself and thrive, how do we significantly increase resilience (to mitigate the effects of Peak Oil) and drastically reduce carbon emissions (to mitigate the effects of Climate Change)?"
The John Ray Initiative - connecting Environment, Science and Christianity
The John Ray Initiative (JRI) is an educational charity with a vision to bring together scientific and Christian understandings of the environment in a way that can be widely communicated and lead to effective action. It was formed in 1997 in recognition of the urgent need to respond to the global environmental crisis and the challenges of sustainable development and environmental stewardship.
Internuncio
Internuncio is a new online resource with the objective of increasing dialogue and understanding of the social implications of climate change to communities across the globe.

THE NOAH PROJECT
Founded in 1997, the Noah Project is Britain’s only Jewish ecological group set up to promote ‘education, celebration and action’ for the environment within the Jewish community. It has support from all five major denominations and from secular Jews.

Churches Together in Britain and Ireland networks specialists across the churches, arranges regular meetings of Church Representatives - including periodic major Assemblies - and links the Churches to a wide range of inter-church organizations.
