Things were looking good till now: near-consensus on a delicate deal, including 2020 targets for rich countries, in return for which China and the developing world would do their part over time. IPCC scientists say such targets are needed to prevent catastrophe. But Japan, the US and Canada are banding together to wreck the deal, and the rest of the world is starting to waver...

If you are frustrated by not being able to fly to Bali, since flights are so carbon-heavy, here's a way to "meet" people present at the Conference or concerned about Climate Change without flying.

Saturday November 24h 2007 is Buy Nothing Day (UK), It's a day where you challenge yourself, your family and friends to switch off from shopping and tune into life. The rules are simple, for 24 hours you will detox from consumerism and live without shopping. Anyone can take part provided they spend a day without spending!

Reports from the National Climate March and Global Day of Action on 8 December 2007

Operation Noah invited all its supporters to join the Climate Change March in London on 8 December. Operation Noah took part in the organisation of this event. If you came to the March, do email us your pictures or some words about your experience of the service and march and we will post them on the Operation Noah website . The March was a a great opportunity for our supporters to get together to voice our concerns about Climate Change. A short video of the service and march (filmed by ON staff) is also available.
