History of Operation Noah

Operation Noah was founded in 2001 by Christian Ecology Link (CEL) and later became a joint project of CEL and the Environmental Issues Network of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. Operation Noah was the first Christian campaign to focus exclusively on the urgent need to address climate change.

Paul Bodenham - founder

Paul is currently chair of Christian Ecology Link, the UK charity which established Operation Noah until it became independent. His professional interests are in local and regional policy, and he lives in Nottinghamshire. Paul was on the Board of Operation Noah until 2012. He currently manages Operation Noah's Ambassadors programme.

Ann Pettifor: Operation Noah's Strategic Advisor

Ann Pettifor became Campaigns Director with Operation Noah in early 2007. She brought with her a wealth of experience – in economics, in advocacy and in campaigning. Her vision and contacts enabled Operation Noah to sharpen its political focus.
