Operation Noah board members and associates respond to climate change and the news. These are personal opinions and do not necessarily reflect our official policy.

These articles cover a range of areas:

  • Spiritual: the link between Christianity and climate change; our duty to protect God's earth; our relationship to the planet and to each other; the Church’s right to interfere in politics and economics.

  • Political: how to build a movement that campaigns effectively on climate change; the behavioural change needed for a Zero Carbon Britain.


This is not alarmism. It is happening now.

The Church Times (21 October 2011) recently published an article by Dr Peter Forster, the Bishop of Chester and a trustee of the Global Warming Policy Foundation, aimed at discrediting what he describes as 'global warming alarmism'. The Rt. Revd. David Atkinson wrote to Church Times in response to the article on behalf of Operation Noah. We reproduce his letter below.
