Operation Noah inspires the Church to take meaningful action on the climate and nature crises.
We do this through our Bright Now Campaign, through educational initiatives directed towards Christians, and by providing faith-based support to mainstream environmental campaigns.
Our Bright Now Campaign works to ensure that UK Churches divest from fossil fuels, invest in climate solutions and protect and restore nature by adopting sustainable land use practices, particularly the Church of England, which is one of the largest landowners in the country.
We do this by releasing reports on our areas of focus, hosting listening meetings and strategy sessions with campaigners, organising webinars and in-person events, speaking to the media, and working both inside and outside of the institutional structures of the Church to bring change.
As an extension of our work with UK Churches, we also work with international partners, particularly on our annual global divestment announcement by faith institutions.

Education
We work to equip the Church to care for creation, which means informing Christians about the scientific and theological reasons for taking environmental action. We do this through our Tenants of the King Bible study, through our monthly newsletter and social media channels, through our annual Supporters’ Event, and through our reports and online learning events. Our staff and trustees also regularly speak at churches and festivals, as well as to the media.

Partnership Campaigns
Operation Noah supports a number of mainstream campaigns and partners working for a fair and fast transition away from fossil fuels and for the restoration of nature, and we encourage Christians to support these initiatives. From the Fossil Fuel Non-Proliferation Treaty to the Warm This Winter and Stop Rosebank campaigns, Operation Noah has rallied Christian leaders and campaigners to sign letters, contact MPs, attend vigils and speak out about the environmental issues we face.
